5.3 DURINOX ACCESSORIES — WEIGHT MEASUREMENT POLICY
At Durinox Accessories, we prioritise accuracy, transparency, and integrity in all our product measurements.
Each jewellery item is individually weighed using professionally calibrated digital scales to ensure the most precise readings possible.
However, please note the following:
1. Calibration Standards
• Our weighing scales are maintained and calibrated to a 0.0 g sensitivity level, ensuring consistency across all measurements.
• Despite this, due to differences in scale sensitivity or calibration between suppliers, and environmental factors such as vibration or air movement, minor variations may occur.
2. Permissible Weight Variation
• A tolerance of ±0.1 g is acceptable between the supplier’s recorded weight and Durinox Accessories’ in-house weight.
• This range is standard and considered negligible in professional jewellery measurements.
3. Customer Purchases
• When customers purchase based on total weight, please be aware that the final weight displayed may differ slightly (up to ±0.1 g) from the supplier’s reading.
• Such variation does not affect the quality, value, or authenticity of the jewellery piece.
4. Quality and Integrity Assurance
• All items are weighed, inspected, and verified before sale or dispatch.
• Durinox Accessories guarantees that any weight difference beyond the accepted tolerance will be reviewed and corrected immediately.
Note: This policy aligns with professional jewellery standards where a ±0.1 g variation is within normal and acceptable measurement range for precision scales.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
6.1 General Limitation
-
We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms.
-
We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
6.2 Exclusions
-
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7. DURINOX FLEXIBLE PAYMENT POLICIES
- At Durinox Accessories, we believe luxury should be as accessible as it is exquisite. To help you build your collection, we offer four flexible payment pathways tailored to your financial preference.
7.1 The Durinox Savings Plan (Thrift Contribution)
This is our most flexible "save-as-you-go" option. It allows you to build a credit balance with us toward a future purchase.
- How it works: Make regular contributions (weekly or monthly) into our official company account.
- Duration: 2 to 12 installments.
- Flexibility: No fixed time limit; you can select your jewellery whenever your balance is ready.
7.2 Fixed Installment Plan (Reserved Items)
If you have found a specific piece in our collection and want to secure it, this plan is for you.
- Process: Payments begin immediately upon selection.
- Terms: A maximum of 3 installments over a period of no more than three months.
- Delivery: Your luxury piece will be held securely by us and dispatched immediately once the final payment is cleared.
7.3 Buy Now, Pay Later (Klarna & Clearpay)
For those who wish to receive their items immediately while spreading the cost, we offer integration with Klarna and Clearpay.
- Availability: These options are enabled upon request. Please contact our team to activate this at checkout.
- Processing Fee: To accommodate the 6% third-party card processing fees, a small surcharge of 3% to 4% is added to the total or requested for you to pay after checkout.
- (Note: We absorb the remaining balance of the fee to keep your costs low).
- Delivery: Your order is processed and delivered immediately after checkout.
7.4 Personalized & Custom Orders
For bespoke pieces designed specifically for you, our production process follows a two-step payment structure:
- Commitment Fee: A 60% upfront deposit is required to begin the craftsmanship of your piece.
- Final Balance: The remaining 40% is due once your item has arrived in the UK and is ready for final delivery.
7.5 Important Notes for All Plans
- All direct bank transfers must be made to our official Durinox Accessories company account.
- Items remain the property of Durinox Accessories until the final balance is settled in full.
- For personalized orders, the initial deposit is non-refundable once production has commenced.
